Matthew Livaudais is ACTNext’s Visual Information Designer and is responsible for developing the department’s visual identity and maintaining ACTNext’s branding across platforms. Matt’s approach to the department’s visual representation is informed by his background in industrial design, where he has experience in all aspects of product development, from conception through promotion. Matt received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Auburn University, where he developed a wide range of product lines and promotional materials in several sponsored studios, including work for American Greeting Card International, Emerson Tool Company, Thermo Fischer Scientific, and Knaack. Matt also received his Master of Industrial Design degree from Auburn, with his thesis work focused on shouldered, personal load-carrying systems. Matt is the lead designer at M.Livaudais Studios, whose clients have included the Auburn University Departments of English and Music, the University of Iowa English Department, Poetry Out Loud, Auburn Area Community Theatre, and Saint John Montessori School. Additionally, Matt worked for ConnectFive, a User Experience (UX) Consulting and Software Development company.
