Innovative Solutions in Theory & Practice: ACTNext hosts symposium that focuses on education research & technological innovation 

On October 3-4 2018, ACTNext will hold their annual conference at The Graduate Hotel, in Iowa City, providing an opportunity for participants to engage with experts in diverse fields on the challenges spanning education and assessment research.

Distinguished speakers such as Dor Abrahamson, Adam Blum, Maria Bolsinova, Benjamin Deonovic, Sidney D’Mello, Susan Embretson, Ellen Forte, Juan Pablo Hourcade, Yuchi Huang, Christine Ortiz, Marten Roorda, Yigal Rosen, Alina von Davier, and Simmy Ziv-el will hold sessions on subjects ranging from assessment analytics, the future of human-computer interaction, collaborative problem solving, and more!

ETCPS ’18 will also be accepting submissions for poster presentations. Topics should address at least one or more of the following categories: multimodal models, alternative modalities of assessment, and EdTech in the classroom.
