Feng is a second-year (2018- 2019) Ph.D. student in social research methodologies and an M.A. student in biostatistics at The University of California, Berkeley, advised by Dr. Sophia Rabe-Hesketh.

Feng’s research interests include generalized latent variable modeling, causal inference, missing data, and statistical computing. He worked on the Stan project in his first year where he wrote tutorials of fitting complex models (e.g. multilevel models, latent class models) for applied researchers in the social sciences.

Feng is excited about the opportunity to work with the advanced psychometrics team at ACTNext. Supervised by Dr. Benjamin Deonovic, he is currently working on network psychometrics and graphical models.
