Kurt Peterschmidt is Principal Architect for the Research Innovation Development group at ACTNext. He earned his MS in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University graduating summa cum laude and obtained his BS in computer science from Western Illinois University, also graduating with honors. He recently received a certificate in machine learning from the University of Washington.

Kurt has two decades of experience working with industry leaders in educational software systems. Notable achievements include the design and implementation of large scale assessment systems with Pearson, serving as team leader for a group tasked with creating and maintaining student aid software for higher education distributed by the U.S. Department of Education, and working on McGraw-Hill’s Breakthrough to Literacy project.
